172 fuel lines

what is the bore of the 172 fuel (under car ones)? 8mm?

Im using 6mm steel joiners between the 172 and valver lines IIRC, which were a tight fit

maxi over on c16v said the valver lines were 8mm so presumed they were same.

so you sacked off the 172 "click" connector infavor for a standard joiner

yeah, couldnt be bothered fitting the other side of the 172 line to make the 'quick release' work....as it dosent seem to connect to the valver line properly anyway. Just got a couple of steel joiners and joined them both. Im sure they were 6mm internal dia. joiners, I can check tomorrow in my box of reciepts

if you could mate that would be great.

i can't for the life of me get the wuick release to mate with valver lines. doesn't help they have been bodged before.

may redo all the line doesn't look that hard. lol

Yeah - the fitments for the mechanism are different... Adam had the full 172 lines (both parts) and ran them to the pump iirc, so hes got the 172 quick release underneath where it should be
