172 Cup traction control light after UCH/ECU Swap

Hi,

Ive just replaced my UCH/ECU etc with a like for like from a 172 Cup. Everything working as it should, but the traction control light has come on?

is there anything other than the fact that this UCH may have come form a normal 172 causing this light to come on?

Can it be reconfigured by renault to remove the light ??

I swapped my UCH / ECU from a non-cup and had no issues.

There is a version number that matters though - it's on the UCH. I think mine was N3 or something like that, compare your two and see if they differ.

Also - there's a TCS light ?!

Yes all the numbers were identical, and everything else 100%. The reason i replaced was for the drivers window which wasnt working - which now does.

So you have a cup, and used a non-cup UCH and had no lights come up?

Correct, I put non-cup ECU and UCH into my Cup and had not one single light or error. It fired up first time and has been spot on for nearly 2 years now.

I'd find someone with a code reader to see what the error is.
