172 cup starting issues!

Hey,

Few months back the clio wouldn't start, nothing at all, lights yes clicks no. Within the last few weeks it had happened a few times so had a new starter fitted last Friday. Just been up to the shop, came back out, same again. Couple of minutes later it started.

any ideas guys?

Battery?

Dodgy connection on the starter ? If your lights are working fine I would say this over the battery

Check the relay and then the earths. The one on the back of the gearbox and the main gearbox to body in the passenger front wheel arch.

Had the same thing, earth strap at the chassis leg to gearbox would be my diagnoses.

New battery not so long ago. Will check relays and earths.
