172 clutch bite point

Ive noticed recently that the bite point on my clutch has edged all the way to the top the pedals travel. I dont drive it like a t*at and its not slipping. Is there an automatic adjuster? My old Ford used to adjust itself as the clutch bedded in/wore away but this doesnt seem to be happening on the clio. Under acceleration a mere tap of the pedel causes the clutch to disengage and slip, surely this isnt right?

Could this be another trip to Renault Manchester?

Could be - mines still down at the bottom of its travel after 26K miles.

Mine is near the top in the Cup and has been from new...

Theyre self adjusting I believe, as most are!

the pedal has a ratchet self adjuster mechanism and its this that determines the biting point.my biting point has always been near the top since new.
