172 alarm

I have a standard Cobra alarm system on my RS172.

Once the vehicle is locked and the the alarm set; what's the minimum time until the alarm is disabled enabling re-entry?

I have been caught out several times and set off the alarm when re-opening the door after enabling the alarm.

Can this be configured?

Mate ive got a cobra alarm, and i want the damn thing out! its being nowt but a pain ! when i lock mine, and i accidently push the button on the renault key fob, it completely locks me out the engine, and i am unable to start the think, i have to keep trying it, and my alarms if going off and flashing aswell when im doing this!

Get rid of the thing lol !!!
