17 inch alloys

i got 17s on my mk2 172 and they rub with mine dropped 40mm ,just on the arch liners so i took em out and its fine now..

now of 2 ppl with 17s who haven't had to roll the arches .;) but be careful of overloading

Why Put 17's on your 172..... You sacrificing handling and speed for the sake of an inch! Stick with 16's and get some super lightweight wheels, would be wiser choice mate. However, yes you can fit them with no scrubbing, but you cant have a heavy rear-end otherwise you'll get horrible noises.

Only if you put cheap tyres on them, and get heavy rims....

I have a set of buddyclub P1's with Dunlop Sport Maxx tyres and it handles really well.
