Hi guys, Pulled the 159 in today to correct & get some winter protection on. Chosen sealant was Nanolex si3D coating, correction carried out via Rupes Bigfoot & various polishes etc. Half done, car is massive compared to the vee, feel rough due to a nasty cold too. Slow process but a nice satisfaction.

Fun hopefully continues tomorrow.

Only picture of her before, longest I've lest my car dirty, was much needed.

Couple of the cup that got a coat of her own custom wax I had made. Very impressed considering she was clayed 3 weeks ago & left!

  A special one.
Cracking work as always Dawn, so you have 2 Vee's a Cup and an Alfa?

You must have a massive house.

@MagpieV6 , Both the Cup and the 159 look stunning.
Love the LED flood light you have, can I ask what wattage it is as I am tempted to get a couple for my garage and dont know whether you actually need a super bright one for detecting scratches when you are polishing.

See you have the halfords floor tiles. I bought some of those and found they were a little lightweight and not rugged enough. They were really comfortable when you are sitting or kneeling on them though. I ditched them though and got some industrial tiles:

Very nice.

How is it you make wax?

And is that glisten as an application aid?

I didn't make this one, I got in touch with John at Angelwax who made it for me. I wanted a wax based on Dark Angel as it's my favourite wax on black. That's Zaino Z6 as application aid.

Quite fancy some of that custom Angelwax Dawn does it fill well?

I've not really had the chance to test it's filling capabilities as this was a quickie as they say. It gave off an impressive gloss to say the least.

This is correct, house isn't big enough though!

@MagpieV6 will be nice to know your thoughts on the Si3d once you've used it please

What can I say? It looked flipping fantastic in direct sun today! So much flake pop it was mental, wish I'd got a picture now :( Finish is flawless and seems darker.

On application, the smell is Toxic like. A mask is a must! Application is easy, little goes a long long way! I did the car with x2 coats on a mere 15ml sample I'm sure! Keep applying it criss cross motions until near clear. I found it was best to wait 2-3 mins before buffing. The Nanolex MF towel worked best for removing most of the residue, then a Carpro Boa to buff any excess. (It starts off smearing but that's why it's best to finish with the Boa)

Cheers very much! I have 50W white leds in my garage, which are perfect for detecting swirls etc. Have a look on Ebay, around £23 per unit unless you buy in bulk like I did.

The floor mats are pisch as soon as the cars wheels turn! But so much nicer to kneel on than the concrete floor though! cheers, I'll take a look
