1.8 8v

iv just brought a 1.8 8v clio and want to get more power out of it what can do to the engine that is relativly cheap but makes a difference cheers dale​

depends what you mean by cheap and how handy you are when it comes to working on cars.

The 1.8 8v engine isnt really a great base for big power gains unless you go turbo

Get a valver (1.8 16v) engine or a williams (2.0 16v) engine in there. Don't forget to tell your insurance company.

I got my head and inlet gasflowed and matched and it gave a nice gain with my Scorpion exhuast. Quite expensive to get done tho
