1.5 Dci

My girlfriend has a clio dci and it is having trouble ticking over from cold. It sounds like it is runnig on 3. I have had it plugged in and the fault read said it had a missfire on 1st and 2nd cylinder. It is fine when its warm just a pain on cold start. It has had new glow plugs, oil + filter, air filter and fuel filter.The head gasket is fine, I think it could be a sticking injector. Has any1 had trouble like this and what do people recomend to use as a fuel system cleaner. Thanks Gav

Your problem sounds wierd. I have never had a problem like youdescribe. And mine is 02 and have gone 70K miles. No problems at all - but at winter I use a engine heater (which warms the engines coolant and there by the engine).

If it was a injector fault it should do it all the time - also when the weater is warmer.

Yeah it is werid. i think i'll get some fuel system cleaner for it and go for a good run in it. What cleaner do people recomend for a diesel
