1.2 16 v able to pull dci box

just broke my gearbox on my 1.2 16v and need another gearbox . i got the idea for using the dci 80 box cause my fuel economy would be better it would be stronger and its plug and play .but i'm afraid my engine wouldn't pull the torque for the box . its a phase 2 so no need to worry for the speedo
anybody can give me some guidance as there is a lot of posts for the sports but not for a 1.2

No.

You'll struggle to pull any gear above 3rd, any fuel savings will be lost in having to rev the hell out of each gear just to move.
