£50 for a switch???

When my 172 was in for service a few weeks back, they said it needed a new switch on the power steering as it was leaking...

They have quoted me £50 for the switch and £16 labour!!!

What the hell does this switch do for that price?? It must take them about 0.13 seconds to fit at that labour cost!!!

I'd assume its the switch on the stearing column which is about that price so its not bad realy.

Unless it has platinum contacts, which it won't, a switch is a switch and should be pennies..
