I have just got my 2002 172 and have given the engine a quick clean. As a ritual I always take a look at the intake of a new car to see if there are any gains to be had.
I think I may vent the breather pipe which runs to the intake elbow and seal the elbow as this gas is taking up space which could be taken up by O2.
Secondly, the standard air feeds look pants. Would a K+N panel and modified feeds give the same performance as a sealed IK?
What sort of route could I feed the pipes without removing a fog light or cutting into my bumper?
