£180 for front and rear brakes? sound about right?

I can get off E bay some front and rear brakes including:

2x front disks grooved Mintex
4x front pads Mintex
2x rear disks Mintex with bearing but no ABS rings
4x Pads Mintex

Does this sound about right? only for road use won't be going on the track.

Same set as my mate bought I'd imagine

They are ok but are v simmilar to standard set up performance wise

Brembo HC front discs were available from "the brembo shop" for only £45, personally I'd want a set of these and DS2500 pads on the front

You'll need to get the ABS rings on the rear disks.

I'd be buying genuine Renault rear brakes instead.

Will the more expensive Brembo's in the Brembo shop not have the ABS ring?

Just tap them off and re-use the old ones if they aint trashed

Plus the Brembo shop rear discs are for single discs, so you have to buy two... weird!

i've got a couple bearing pullers, so the old abs rings should be a problem

The brembo HC discs are very good indeed mate, I'd definately go for those

FLOL!!!! Or as my case the other day, some stupid old lady that could hardly see over the wheel, pulled out in front of me from the Dr's (probs to be told she is going blind). Was doing 20 and I had to slam my brakes on and then swerve to the other side of the road and pretty much over took her.
