~£100 smartphone?

My mum is wanting a ~£100 smartphone. Currently uses an iPod Touch and a 5yr old Samsung phone. She'll use her current O2 PAYG sim.

She wants touchscreen (as she likes her iPod Touch)

Any of these any good?

Samsung Galaxy Ace / Y
Nokia Lumia 610 / 520
HTC Desire C

I've tried selling her the iPhone, but she can't justify the cost.

i had an HTC desire not sure what the C model is, its good enough, see if you can get a Galaxy s3 mini well worth it and should be cheap enough

Xperia E is a good phone.

My Mrs has had one for a bit and she loves it.

I've got one of these for the same sort of principles. I wanted a smart phone without having to be paranoid/precious about it breaking. I just treat it like a disposable and if it breaks i'll get something else.

I've got Nokia 610. Its ok actually, just don't try running any apps.

I have an HTC as my work phone - although it runs on windows, tad annoying, they seem like great phones. Battery just refuses to die. 2 days easily out of it
