I have a ph1 172 and discovered a misfire a few days back whilst driving to work ... it was weird as one minute it was driving fine then it started missing but at the same time as i carried on it was jolting as if it wanted to go somewhere ... i changed the leads .. coilpack and plugs .. misfire...
Have just bought my second clio sport its a ph1 road legal track car and it has had a ph2 dash conversion but behind the dash the cd player harness is nowhere to be seen does anybody know of a way i can get the cd player in and working without visiting an auto leccy as with xmas coming around...
Hello the past month i have tried diagnosing the problem with my 5k hesitation problem , went through , map sensor , coil pack , plugs , knock sensor , loads of checks etc and in the end it was the leads which were the problem and then after changing those it ran perfect , my 5k kick has always...
Have you checked your pas fluid? , same happened to me and was a split pipe, fluid was leaking slightly then when it went down so much it sounded like an f1 car when you turn it lol
Yesterday i changed my ht leads on my clio and drove around fine for a few hours , then today whilst driving to work i had the electrical fault light come on and couldnt accelerate through the rev range, Anyone have any ideas? , when i turn the car off and back on its completely fine then drives...
Changed my ht leads today , put everything back on and in place and as soon as i turned the engine on straight away the car revved just past 4k , anybody had this before , all the sensors are plugged back in and in right ive also cleaned the throttle body , very stuck on what to look at next
Discovered a weird problem today whilst pulling up got told my rear light wasnt working so kept the rear lights on and fiddle with the back wire and when i pull the wire the light comes on ??? seems weird anybody had this ??
It had the kick before now just suddenly dont , and sometime i can be driving and it can have the kick , but then other times it just wont kick at all , if the timing was out surely it would be the same all the time i would imagine
Been having this problem for a while now , everytime im up through the revs it doesnt kick at 5k and really holds back , I know somebody is gonna say use the search bar but the factor is that i have and everything ive came across ive near enough changed or tested , I have changed my spark plugs...
Tested injectors by pulling them out 1 by 1 , remove fuel guard for easy access and if one doesnt make a bit of difference when you remove it thats the one thats nackered ,
Not injectors for me though , So far done plugs , injector test , put a new map sensor on , new coil pack , the next move...
Done the injector test today , can't see no issues with the injectors , replaced plugs and coilpack today , also had a whistle coming from the side of inlet so replaced map sensor as was snapped , now not sure where to go from here , maybe lambda sensors ?
For a few days driving the clio low down revs driving is perfect but as soon as your going up through the revs it starts missing , sometimes it will go no problems but other times it's missing but today for the first time whilst driving to work hit high revs and started missing and eml light was...
I'm having the exact same problem started beginning of this week , it can hit 5k and have its little kick perfect but then it can just bog down at times starting to worry me now and mines also no issues below 5
Ah nah not me I was wu03 but I got a private reg now as of 2 days ago lol , I've seen another 182 going around here lately , but I've only seen myself and another 172 ( silver anyway ) and I'm not sure if that's a 51 but he lives near Newport sainsburys
