I have them and love them dunno why you wouldn't ha. But as far as I know you can't turn them off. Just unplug the lamps.

Everywhere I park I always use my auto mirrors and fold them in. However the other day when I got into my car and unfolded them the driver side unfolds but the motor keeps turning and clicking I have to physically push the mirror the other way so it is fully open for the motor to stop then...
