Ask who?I presume your buying a clio?
If so, don't take the sellers word for anything. If there isn't an invoice/proof of said work then assume it hasn't been done
Yeah, all stripped off. It seemed the 1/4 part wasn't long/deep enough so the bar handle hit on the tensioner spring part. Maybe I should have tried it in a fewer positions but I'm 99% sure it was the tool and not me being a t**t
That's the same as mine and it would foul on the tensioner body whilst trying to crank the tensioner over
i used this

That would have made my day dan! Instead of nearly cutting several fingers off my mates hand haha
How do you pros do it? Do you remove everything mentioned above or are there some tricks to it?
also, when you've got all of the above mentioned parts removed is the Cambelt much more work?
As above, but I didn't use a jubilee though as I didn't have 1. Instead I got a semi shallow 1/4 drive extension from snap on and a small 1/4 drive breaker bar put that into the tensioner and pushed it towards the bulkhead using a big breaker bar and got a mate to hook the belt on.
It's not a...
I just this minute used it, I think it only works well if you clean the wheels prior to using this, then use it as an iron remover on the really stubborn stuff. I tried it straight onto a dry wheel and it seemed to struggle a bit with normal brake dust and road grime, but when applied to already...
I thought about doing what you said? But thought this may do the same job cheaper and they're brand new so no worries about me doing a crap paint job haha
This bloke is amazing!
Easily THE BEST I've seen at his job! He work in pretty much every main dealer by me inc the Audi place next door on R8's RS6's etc

3/4 plate touched down and was quickly slapped on, then shortly after slapped a new aux belt kit, water pump and coolant change- horrible f**king job lol
I gave the old girl a quick spruce up yesterday, this inc a bath, a much needed front splitter and I finally blacked the front grilles and fog surrounds with satin plasticote - opinions on this please, I'm thinking about re doing them in matte

I had a productive morning
finally got the splitter fitted, the grilles blacked and the fog surrounds blacked

I used plasticote satin, I'm undecided wether to re do them all in matte instead? They still look fairly shiny for satin!
Thoughts please guys
I've had this on a BG Clio I bought to flog, as said I used time very fine wet and dry followed by a machine polish, couldn't even tell after to be fair - well I couldn't but a pro probably could do
Denting/damaging cars seems to be standard practice where I work, and as said usually if you scream loud enough you'll get whatever you want out of a dealership. This obviously depends on the type of manager your dealing with, generally though ours is a push over and just folds at the first sign...
I've got a BG 182 with a loud exhaust and to be honest couldn't give a flying f**k what people think of me or the car!
Don't raise to their bull s**t, if you do they know they're getting to you
