Is there like a special method?
Just curious what methods dealers are supposed to demonstrate to users with this letter.
I just drop it from about two feet.
1. New cheap laptop
2. Replace the HDD with an SSD, put the HDD into an external usb HDD enclosure case for additional storage
3. Put on a clean install of windows + security essentials + google chrome with adblock

You have to make a nick in the film with a razor blade, thats what i did. I just pealed it off very very slowly and most of the glue came away with the film, it was easy to clean the remaining residue off. Have you seen this?

Get a quote from a bodyshop and give it to the insurance, that way they won't estimate. They estimate assuming that your insurance has chosen paint, parts and workshops that give them cashback.
So get the quotes and chase them up.
Maybe you could get a new car and continue with the same policy, might have to pay a little for changing the policy.
On the other hand if you cancel and start a new policy then you'd get 1 full year's worth of NCB next year.
