Plenty of non sport owners on here. I remember when I attended Cliosport saturday a few years back there was quite a few non sports there too.
Miss having my clio, not been back on here in a couple years :(
I agree, i bought fk uprated shocks direct from them, cost about £7.50 each at the time. Matched them with some 60mm fk lowering springs, it drives lovely but if i had bought the coilovers i could adjust the front slightly to make the stance perfect
Yeah i had been reading around and thats the only thing i can think off besides slowing down a lot ( im not driving like a loon but where its has less roll now it holds the corner better, when you really push it it understeers a bit, i think thats down to the outside edge though )
i should...
camber isnt ajustable, i know they set the toe bang on standard settings ( i dont know the settings myself but they are reputable renault specialists so i believe them when they said they set it bang on, not within tolerances as they took an hour near enough to do it, they took it out on the...
i never got a print out. work was done at twotechs in dartford, they fitted the suspension and done the tracking along with new top mounts and a dogbone mount.
would it be wise to get a laser print out alignment done and check camber values etc are correct ?
pressures are at 32psi all round. yeah now you said it i might be taking corners a bit quicker ( roundabouts etc ) where im slightly stiffer and less body roll.
you think it might be down to me taking corners quicker ? if so if i was to add a little camber up front would it help the tyres...
On my 1.2 16v ( 2003 ) the front tyres have started eating the outer egde, had all four tyres replaced christmas when i upgraded to 172 wheels, since then i have lowered the car 60mm on fk uprated fk shocks and springs ( 30% stiffer ) had all the alignment done when fitted and took it back a...
i have 15mm spacers all round on my non sport ( standard wings etc ) and it fills the gap but i think i can get another 5 - 10mm , with the sport arches i think you will need more than 15mm
yeah would make it easier lol. you could stick spacers on but i'm not sure what size you would need, maybe 25mm ? might be best to get all the bumpers on erc then see how much arch gap you have
if you have a whole car as a donor why not use the rear axle and front driveshafts etc and do a wide track conversion ?
should solve some of the arch gap for you
hahaha my bad
Every other non sport ive been in has a slighty different/ larger wheel than mine, could that be down to dynamique/exlression differences ?
Oh i think i know what ones you mean, have you got a full torx set ? in my halfords jobbie i had one that fitted them, but i cant remember the exact size pal, sorry :(
Yeah its like a really long bar that slides in and fits over the plug and pulls it out when its loose.
where are you located ? i bought one ages ago and more than happy to let you use it ( i live in dartford )
