Recently there has been a noise that appears to come from around the bonnet area when going over bumps and also when turning at high speeds can be kind of felt through the steering column, like a rattly squeeking noise. Unsure of what this could be but my guesses point me towards engine mounts...

I've seen a few diagrams and photos, I believe you have to take the airbox off first? From there I should be able to spot it against pics I've seen?

Cheers for the replies. Had nothing but bad luck with this exhaust system since it was fitted back in Feb last year. Just glad it was under warranty and has been replaced. I will definitely consider the ktec stealth should it ever need replacing when out of warranty! Luke

surely it needs some movement tho at the rear of the exhaust?

Its broke where the bracket from the mount to back box actually joins the back box, corroded away and causing a massive hole in the back box, like split. If i'm thinking correctly it would probably be less stressful on a 182 cause you have two mounts and less weight for one bracket to deal with.

Well I thought that too but when I took it to renault they said it all looked ok . Seems really unhealthy though, like the car is just gonna fall apart!
