I was of course referring to it being 'relatively easy' for you hallowed tuner types! Any comment on what is likely to be in the market place for hp upgrades? Similar to the 182 stuff with similar gains?

So it would be relatively easy to tune a 197 to 210(ish)hp with cams and remap?

Anyone know anywhere cheap for the 12000 miler down in the south east? Best I could find ringing round yesterday was Whitehouse in Tunbridge Wells who'll so it for £250 (but they do use fully synthetic oil you know!!) Worst was £280...

I really hope that they do a roof spoiler as an option. The F1 'derived' defuser may mean it isn't really needed, but I don't think the car looks finished without one.

Cheers Gary, that makes BBRs claims seem very optimistic... I wont ask if your mods have effected your warranty! Q) GDI - do you have a package that competes/surpasses BBR in terms of BHP per buck?

Ive just ordered a Trophy having been given a pretty good trade in price on my 182 and a few K off list on the new one. Question is, can I take the Renault OE 6 disc changer from under the front passenger seat of my 182 and get it under the Recaros in the Troph? Dealer said no, as it will...

Im liking the look of the new Astra VXR as advertised in last weeks Auto Express, 240 brake, 0-60 in 6.1 secs, 152mph top end, all for £1500 more than what they reckon the new RS will cost.... good argument for a turbo?

Wonder if there will be any other options with the RS? Competition standard suspension per the new Trophy would be nice. Unless the mark 3 has moved the game on so much that its already there...

Came within 4 inches of putting my 182 into another car on the way to work this morning. Just turning left into a lane from main road and it went sideways. No problems for the cars I was following. Wasnt going too fast and gentle braking. Steering just feels so light that I cant feel whether...

Had it on mine within 500 miles from new, dealer fixed it under warranty, they put it down to a faulty sensor.

182 for me - ABS & stability control has saved me twice now and we havent even hit winter yet!

Who needs a warning light with that feckn rev limiter - surely the engine could pull another couple of K without going bang? Third gear would be much more entertaining!
