CL10CUP was on a white 200 originally. I used to park next to it at work. On day it changed to and alien green 200 with a different plate, which I suppose fits with the story of renault buying it.
Go for the plasti dip option. I did the wheels on my RB in red plasti dip over the winter partly to protect them partly because I think it looks great. Possibly better once they are a bit dirty, but I did get bored of it eventually and now I have anthracite again without any hassle.
Been a while since I've been able to drive for fun. Just drove 150 miles from near Leeds to Shropshire on completely deserted roads. Never ceases to amaze me how good clios are. That is all.
Had the same problem with ECP. Sent me the wrong alternator and then tried to deduct £50 off what I had paid for it when I returned it because the box it was in was damaged and so couldn't apparently be sold as new. Fought it out and got my money in full but took four months! Jokers.
Seen you a few times always going the opposite direction to me on the morning/evening commute.Mostly I always give it a thumbs up. Because I am a loser.
I'm in the same position as this. Can't make up my mind either. I've sorted out bits that needed doing and it's in tidy condition at present bar a bump to the bonnet which I'm getting replaced. Think I'm going to try and hold onto mine although I probably should take the money and put it in...
Just to check, is the racing blue paint mix you have for the 182 or the 197/200? As the later one is slightly darker from what I understand? Seen that you have a wing from a 197 on your portfolio gallery. Cheers. Tal
Cheers Si. Just trying to weigh up which is best. I think on balance ill probably go with you guys and then maybe see about keeping the car for when I get back from my travels as my brother can look after it for me or i can sell it as a tidy example. Just need to sort the cash out! Ill not have...
Thought about that but can't find anything in RB at the minute. I don't have to change it immediately as I'm not leaving until May so that is also an option but relies on the right parts coming up.
I will likely have to sell my 182 when I move abroad soon. Unfortunately I had a very low speed impact with a wall a few weeks ago in the snow and have damaged the bonnet and front bumper- nothing else damaged, slam panel and behind is all intact thankfully. Both will need replacing but I'm...
Made me even more keen to get there! Luckily I have a New Zealand passport so work is no issue. Have it by random luck as was born there as was a month early and my parents were working there at the time but I've never lived there. Only been back once for a short visit to the north island 15...
I didn't want stripes on mine. Then last week I drove past another RB with stripes and now all I keep thinking maybe I was wrong. Anthracite ones would look good I reckon. Anyone got any pics of one with anthracite stripes?
Going to be living in Nelson. Don't really know much of the country that well so ill be touring all over so trying to decide at the minute what to do about a car. Ill be there for at least 12 months. Am thinking maybe an impreza as they seem to have lots over there, but would quite like a...
Am moving to New Zealand in May. Just wondered if there are any members on here from over there and if so, to say hello. Is there much of a scene for RS clios over there? Not sure if ill stick with an RS car when I get out there or try something different.
Cheers for the advice. Managed to find a local garage who did the above work plus oil and filter change, brake fluid change and remount exhaust for £470 which is about acceptable, plus it's right by my house and was done with no hassle so all seems good.
