Ihave been told by renault that i have 2 different types of brakes on my baby now i just need to know how you can tell the difference between them i think the Valver has the same brakes so can any of you help and tell me how i can see which type is which?
Well not hurting it i need it chipped. All RSIs as standard are very restricted on airflow its just the way renault did it but after exahust induction kit and manifold i hit the limmiter in every gear and need it moved up an extra grand. is it not 7300RPM on a 16V
I know i dont have a 172 but i know having old oil can cause a lumpy problem as it does not have a constant flow through the engine also blocked injectors.
try some redex injector cleaner that may help made mine much better
Does anyone know how to fit a 16V dash with the extra dials in to an RSI i was trying to get a dash and then fit it bur i have heard it can be quite a job does anyone know about ti at all.

I hate to say it but it is all true bigger wheels make a slower car. i have noticed that 16V are def slower when they are on bigger wheels cos they dont have as much torque. i dont know about the handling but i have found that i can take them round corners as well and im on 15s admittdley...

My mate has a GT its a bit slow off the mark but it really does go when it picks up he said that in the fiat test they do have 2 passangers i heard about that. they also claim that the times are not acurate due to exess spin on the small wheels put 16s or even 17s on and the time goes down...
I dont know what to do peeps, i have an RSI and i need to get some new disks and pads all round what does everyone recommend as i have never brought any in my life!!
What make of disks and pads and what is a decent price for them?

I have a good one for you my mussiss mum owns a garage and she said from P plate and down to J you dont have to have a cat as long as it passes emissions but above that she said you should have so im hyaving mine done now and we shall see if it goes through or not
Mate you should just go and drive them all and see what you like. if you like clios i would get the RSI. i have had no problems with mine and its relitivly quick. VTRs just dont have the same pull and i have never been in a zetec S so i cant comment on them. i have driven the VTR and it just did...
the thing is if it was a vtr he would not have caught me up i have never seen a vtr catch me ever that would have been embarrising well maybe it was a vts but the guy cant drive??
ah i see i nearly have the same power as a 16V about 125- 130 i had and induction kit on full exhaust system decat and manifold done too the perfomance increase was amazing from de cat and manifold are they really restricted on air or something
Peeps, i know that you all dont seem to like RSIs but i dont see the problem with mine it looks nice not much slower than the 16V and does 0-60 in about half a second slower. i have had people with 16Vs shocked when they try to give me a pasting. what is wrong with them??
This may sound stupid to all you clio people out there but will a clio16V bonnet fit my clio RSI?? i have been thinking about it and im not sure if it will fit anyone know?? they will both be M Reg and wondering where i can get one cheap or if anyone has one for sale
