ive just got one one with the k2 exit and the larger center silencer, its ok but annoying on the motorway - way louder than i was expecting - took 3 fittings at my local garage too cos the center silencer kept rattling against the heat shield.

You dont need a spare! i drive 70 miles a day to work and back in my 172 inc quite a bit on the motorway and my spare is sat in the garage to save on weight! just ring someone up if u get stuck, im sure u have a mobile phone!

Ive just read one of your other posts Cord - good choice with the 17s - ive put them on too. what wheels have u got - mine are BK eclipse 7 spokes look v nice. I would say that it has slowed the car down a bit, but its still quicker than most.

Cheers Cord, you done any mods to your clio? I was playing with a Nova on the way to work this morning - quite fun - he pi$$ed on me - and when i wound my window down next to him in traffic i found out why!! : he had put a 2 litre turbo lump in it running about 310BHp - it didnt half shift. :@

My clio is a lot more edgy since i put 17s on it too - when braking at high speed it tries to more around more - i think dropping it a few mil should sort it out, im just deciding how low to go though now - i dont want too much rubbing!

Yeah it was the programme with the jiggy bloke on - he was well funny! The best bit was when that metro (or whatever it was) was in the outside lane of the motorway when a copper came up behind, so the driver decided to stop in the fast lane! Brilliant. how stupid can someone be!?

Recently got some new 17" BK eclipse wheels for my 172, they came with Falkens on - i wouldnt recomend them - very poor in the wet. Im definately going to replace them with Eagle F1s (even though its gonna cost a bomb!). Anyone know of a cheap place to get some 215/40/R17 Eagle F1s from?

Sorry Ben J!!!! Unfortunately i couldnt find a gromet anywhere (the mk2 must be different to the mk1 172) nor could i find a suitable place to drill! the engine bay is rammed! a lad down the street has a 1.2 clio so i had a look where he put his amp lead through, but where he drilled on his...

Apart from drilling, does anyone have any good suggestions for a place to get the lead for my amp from the battery to the cabin? I only got my 172 last week and dont really want to drill holes in it just yet! Cheers

Sorry dont know about the speakers, but the grille does just pop off. does anyone know how to get the suede stuff off the front door panel, i think mine needs reglueing in the middle because it has a really anoying rattle but if u press on it it goes. Cheers
