I bought a drill today and some self taping screws, I drilled one hole put the brace on and tightened it up and it was tight but I tried to make it extra tight and the screw just snapped in half :(...

screwed it straight in looks like it could go another turn or 2 but the last 2 turns have touched the bumper hmmm ?
looks good dont know wether it will make noise by rattling tho when I drive along

So I basically got these bullets free ages ago and I thought while I paint the 16V logo on my other ones I'll shove these on for a bit.
Bought some Ford Electric Orange paint from halfords. I applied 4 coats like it said.
Everyone says they look more gold than orange.

I've bought some PH2 172 alloys for my 2002 Dynamique just wondering if anyone can confirm they actually fit? I assume they do not putting them on til after they've been sprayed though, cheers
Steve
Yesterday I bought Shane's (Uddy's) Dynamique
It dosen't sound like much of an upgrade I've gone from 1.2 8v to 1.2 16v
but the accelerator in my Ph1 was like a heavy sticky clutch
It feels soo much quicker and its in much better condition I'm really happy with it :)

Got french style number plates today
I got the GB logo to try and look "less illegal" but they are still in french font not sure if I will get pulled over or not.
I suppose I could just use them as show plates as thats what theyre meant for
Just put the front one on so far because I think it...
the gold one is mine and the green one is a mates
not the best pics but I think they look ok :)
LOL
some of them are poo i just put them all up lol
Still need to paint the front bumper tho :\
so my car used to get 150 miles to £20 (which i was told is very bad) with the shitty halfords air filter on (been on since i passed my test) then after my exhaust was put on i took the air filter off because all it did was make abit of noise
now my car has been getting really bad mpg like less...
so I took the advice from the last thread and here is what Ive done since:
Firstly I ditched the 2.0L 16v badeges (they came with the 182 side plastics) because it clearly isnt a 2.0 i got some 16V badges (yes i know its not a 16v either :P)
Next I got a standard wing mirror and painted it...
Can anyone help me (well do it for me :P) fit my lowering springs. Preferably this weekend as its my weekend off.
I can drive to you if it helps if its not too far
My brother was meant to do it but his gf has the weekend off too so now hes gonna spend it with her.
Thanks
edit-
ill pay you :)
To start, Yes I know it looks shite
really need the paint to finish colour coding (mirrors, spoiler(again), side strips, front bumper)
Mods:
Clio 172 Ph1 Rear Bumper
Lexus style rear lights
Sport Spoiler
Extremely loud exhaust
17" Team Dynamics alloys
Front Eyebrows
splitter from a 2001 clio...
they always have an excuse for not mixing me up some more paint
now my car looks stupid
i colour coded the back (172) rear bumper and started the spoiler and ran out of paint after 1 layer on the spoiler
i still need to paint the spoiler again, side strips, top of front bumper and wing...
the accelerator in my clio is really sticky and not very responsive. its been like it since i got it and its making it hard to pull away fast and overtake on dual carriageways
any1 had this problem before?
is it easy to adjust and if i adjust it or will it still be sticky?
Thanks
