Yeah it's a '88 Panda 4x4, love to drive it but not entirely sure why, its one of them cars that just puts a smile on your face.
Acording to how many left there are only 18 left on the road.
Ha actually she acused me of the wif and trying to make her believe me was like trying to take cake off a fat kid!
I would rather not go down the decat route really as I want to stay legal, will it do any damage done if I wait until it fails an MOT? It can't be too bad as it's just sailed...
I got this smell yesterday after a nice drive over Buttertubs Pass. I don't get it every time I press on, just on the odd occasion, does this means my cat is:
A.Dud?
B.Going Dud?
C.Fine, cats smell.
Cheers

Anyone had any experience with these? Seems like a good deal but then again its on groupon so it could be absolutely gash!
It's a shame really Ash cos I work just by Alba and it could have been very handy but unless of an emergency I won't be taking it back not only for the reasons I have stated but when I got my car back the mpg was 17 cos either they had had it running standing still for ages or they hooned it...
possible, but i got new tyres last week and it was happening before them. They could have just decided to stop playing silly buggers and pull their fingers out and sort it.
Ash - Alba tyres on little lane, when I picked it it up this afternoon everything was straight so I'm presuming it was the strut top nut. It took me 1 minute this morning to find and fix surely a reputable garage could have seen and sorted the problem......... unless they just hoped I would take...
Hopefully its not the ball joint as i replaced that a couple of months ago, but can't eliminate the tie rod and rack ends but i'm not experiencing any funny rattles or knocks (would I ?).
I had a look this morning and the strut top nut was a turn loose, but I havn't found any play anywhere. I...
Just been to pick it up and they have told me there is play in the n/s strut top mount and that they can't align the wheels properly.
I'm going to have a look into tomorrow, i think they might have being trying to fleece me into buyin some solid top mounts.
Yeah I have had the steering wheel off but correct me if I'm wrong, I'm pretty sure that you can only put the steering wheel back on straight, from what I remember there is a tab on the column which you line up with on the wheel?
Hi All,
So i took my 182 in this morning for wheel alignment as i had noticed my steering wheel not being quite straight (to the right/clockwise whilst driving down a straight road) by a small amount but i wanted to get this sorted before MOT time. When i went to collect my car and drove it...
If it ain't broke don't fix it. However eibachs and a rear ARB is a good relatively cheap suspension upgrade. Oh and you won't find many PE2's these days, they are now PS3's and a hell of a lot more expensive
Yes a 1988 Fiat Panda 4x4, its light, cheap has 4x4 and bags of character oh and its a minter for its age. Ive already had a ton of stick for it so anymore wont hurt. I can justify the 80quid difference for putting the ARB back on, when/if i come to changing the insurance i will try push them...
Yeah ive always thought that about a remap. I got a quote from brentacre which came in at 80quid more than admiral but has the bonus of been able to modify, got a quote too for a 1988 panda 4x4 which i have my eye on and brentacre were quite a bit more than admiral on that one. Flux was a good...
In the unfortunate event that the rozzers pull you over for whatever reason and give your car a once over and ask you if you have declared your mods, and then they check - your stuffed, technically driving with no insurance which plod take a very dim view of and you COULD have your car seized...
