Apparently Hammerite flakes off the calipers. I did mine last sunday with a tin of Halfords Brake Caliper paint.

17s on a cliosport will not rub with a 30mm drop as this is what I have, but wait till you get a person/ people in the back. Thats where the rubbing starts!

I have a mk II 172 sport that has recently been fitted with 17" wheels. Previously it was lowered by 30mm on the origanal 16s. I now find that when its just me in the car the rubbing never occurs, however when there is someboby in the back, the wheels do rub on the back arches quite bad...

Can anyone tell me if when trying to thread through the amp wire from the battery to the amp, is there a need to disasemble the windscreen wipers? Really cant see how to get the wire through from the cabin to the engine bay or vise verser? Scott

Hi Mike Yeah there 17s mate. Gave every place one chance to quote their best price. Tyresave origanally came in at £729 but managed to screw them down to £675. Asked them if they could have put Goodyear Eagle F1s on for the same price but told me I must be joking!!!
