TDCi Fiesta is another choice but they are really hard to get in 3door Black/Blue/Red over here and they are making more money than the Clio and I only have about 3.5K to spend at the minute.
DreamTheater - I was told the 100 has a weaker gearbox out of a laguna but alot of people disagreed with me when I commented on it. Over here in NI I have seen two DCI 100's for sale and one DCI 80 for sale. I am going to look at this 100 on Monday and e-mailed a guy about a DCI 80 and might go...
Still undecided as to what to do?
In the year I have had the car I have replaced the coil pack, flywheel/crankshaft sensor, 3 wheel bearings, 2 shocks, 2 ball joints, 2 wheel cylinders and service parts.
I was told to sell the car and buy something like the 1.3 CDTi Corsa C or 1.7 DTi Corsa...
Pretty much the exact same for me, I had the diesel near enough bought until today when I was told by two local mechanics that had two 1.5 DCi's in the last while with major problems. One was injectors and something else which comes in a pack or something and it cost over £2000 and the other was...
I have had the car 10 months and put about 16k on her so at the minute yes I do enough miles for a diesel in my opinion. Especially over here in NI. Running costs would be a lot less also?
Right, I am considering changing my car now after 10 months of owning a 2001 Mk2 Ph2 1.2 16v Dynamique Clio.
What I am thinking of changing to is a 2005 1.5 DCi 100BHP Extreme. Now I know that all Clio's give bother in one way or another wether it is coil packs, wheel bearings etc etc and I...
The bumpstrips will be colourcoded with the bullets sprayed the normal silver they are with colour coded writing
There is already a dynamique spoiler on it which is colourcoded
I am keeping the DCi bullets on it as i cant hide the fact it is a dci lol and the sport badge will not be going on...
Oh right I understand now.. the washer jets is what you were chatting about. I will more than likely get them smoothed over as it looks better IMO
So everything I listed plus the arch liners?
Are they just a straight fit?
Arch liners = Splash guards? Am i right?
and will the washers/blanks from the standard one not be ok for the 172 one?
I will also be putting in a xenon headlight conversion kit
I am changing my 1.2 16v clio to the 100BHP DCi now in 2 weeks time and I want to 172 rep it
Is the 172 Ph2 bumpers and wings etc a straight fit to the non-sport?
Is anyone selling any?
I will need:
1 Rear 172 bumper with insert
1 Front 172 bumper with fog surrounds and lower and upper...
Right sounds better than what I am experiencing now anyway lol
So is there a particular name for these bushes? And exactly where are they situated just to know what to get?
Yea I have tried this too but it does not work :dapprove:
I am more annoyed at 3rd Gear really as I understand a lot of lift reverse petrol cars crunch going into reverse
Yea I thought that too but I took the grip off the drivers side one to put it on the other side and its not working. It seems to be different. There is like a fold over cap on the passenger side covering the wires then on the other side when you remove the grip the wires have no cover as the...
Looks really well. It's just having the money to purchase them :(
Are these wheels expensive to buy new and are they difficult to get second hand? i.e. rare?
I have also heard a few commenting on this.. To be honest it has only started to happen since I got a new clutch put in meaning the gearbox has been dropped out to replace the clutch and since it was fitted again it has started crunching. Never once done it before :(
I have the easiest one to see off now at the top along the side of the slam panel I think. So there is one more on top? 2 under the passenger side wing and then 3 around the light unit itself?
Does the bumper/grill/splash guard have to be removed?
Sorry for the hassle :(
Thanks for clearing that up. I really like them. If I decide to keep the car then I am going to make it into a 172 Replica with these wheels I am thinking?
