Need a new bulb for the rear number plate lamp. It's normally a R10W bulb with a bayonet cap. Are there any alternatives to the standard bulb? I'm thinking of a white LED or something similar :D

I've got some spare W5W philips bluevision bulbs, and was wondering if they can be used anywhere else on the car other than as sidelights? Would they fit any of the interior lights, or the rear number plate lamp?
