    Ricardo's 200EDC

Christ. Do trophy's use exactly the same Nissan engine as the 200 ? Apart from turbo and intake yea? I'm looking at getting a mk4 as I'm getting a bit long in the tooth for my mk2 ph1 and Williams now 😆

Is this with stock internals? 320 is a lot to handle.

    3x Williams and ph1 Southampton

Ahh yes I know the nursery :) Sadly, these three Williams are not mine, I am but their steward. My old Williams 1 locked up and under cover somewhere nearby ;) Shame you missed the line-up I had not long ago...three of the five Williams were parked elsewhere (sold one since then): The...

    172 Cup - Exhaust

I don't think it's that bad. I've had louder! My old Oreca exhaust on my Williams on ITB's was mental :D Gonna fit a decat tomorrow and see how much worse it can get hhahahaha!

    172 Cup - Exhaust

Hi OP. I just fitted the Gravity 2.5" to my Ph1. Way louder than OEM and a bit droney...BUT...generally it is way more fun to drive and at higher RPM it howls. Really good fit as well, but as it is a Ph1 I had to modify the hangers a bit as the CAT length is different to a Ph2. No biggie. I...

Any insight on Airbag CLIP fault codes?

Not that I can see. The ECU isn't locked either. I think I have to go through the clip settings and figure out what is still on or off with regards the airbag stuff. It used to have different seats and wheel but the trendlines are back in as is steering wheel, albeit put in with the angle sensor...

Any insight on Airbag CLIP fault codes?

Thanks, yea I read that thread. It could be a different airbag ECU but even so clip can modify the config to whatever setup I need. I am struggling to find what is on the trophy or not. The last 182 seemed different.

Any insight on Airbag CLIP fault codes?

The plugs under the seat are disconnected and switched off in clip. The driver airbag is not wired in and also switched off. Not sure about the passenger airbag wiring, but I turned it off in Clip too....

Wobba's 'try to keep it sensible this time' Clio 182 FF Cup Diary

So, winter has hit hard here and its non stop rain and hard wind so I've not done tons. I removed the cigarette lighter and put in a voltmeter with USB charger instead: IMG_20181213_155700 It's nifty! I could see there was an alternator issue and this helped me trace the issue to a worn...

    CLIP airbag

Forget it, think I accidentally fixed it. I did everything right but I needed to let the car switch off completely and remove the CLIP and then start the car...seems fine now...*fingers crossed*.

    CLIP airbag

So I found resistors on the drivers airbag where there is now a sparco wheel, and under the passenger seat and the drivers seat. None of the seat plugs were plugged into anything except two power cables to feed the RX8 seat that was installed. When I cut this to take the seat out the airbag...

    CLIP airbag

Is this just a case of setting the driver airbag circuit 1 and 2 to without or is there more to it? Do I set the ECU to unlocked first?

Clio 1.8 16v, High idle issue

The clocks are easy BUT it can be fiddly because the part that goes into the speedo clocks needs to be pressed quite hard to release it. I find small children are good for this part.. While you are back behind the dials, you can replace those pesky little bulbs that have blown too :) The MK1's...

Clio 1.8 16v, High idle issue

As said, air leak or speedo cable issue. The earth is quite easy to sort after you get the top part of the dash off and clocks out. I did it with my Williams years ago. Do check for air leaks though first. Get it idling again at 1500 and pop the ISCV feed off the airbox and block it with the...

Wobba's 'try to keep it sensible this time' Clio 182 FF Cup Diary

So, more stuff :) The ABS rings arrived and after popping the new CV boot on and clamping it in place I got the new ring on, quite easy actually. It came with some special fluid that helps stop the ring coming off, of which there is very little chance trust me! IMG_20181122_143903 Cooksport...

Wobba's 'try to keep it sensible this time' Clio 182 FF Cup Diary

Minor Update: Whilst I await the arrival of more parts I decided to crack on with the lovely job of replacing the front CV boots. IMG_20181119_160743 I've done boots before but only with the driveshaft and CV joint off the car. This time I used a cone fitting tool. It was quite easy having...
