Still unable to update iPad. iTunes said that it can't use the software that iTunes took 7 hours to download yesterday as my device isn't correct for it. Now I can't redownload the software. Apple updates are gash. Why can't they just make it simple!

do what i have done nd download it from redmond pie and then just point iTunes to the file downloaded. took 30 mins rather than the 7 hours iTunes wanted me to wait

I was expecting a new design. It will just have a bigger processor, more ram and larger sensor on the camera. After all the hype I was prepared for a thing of beauty. Very doubtful it will tempt me back from my galaxy s 2

i use litening rom 5.0 at the moment with ninphetamine kernel. the phone flies!

so simple to do. download the latest firmware from above link, open Odin on your PC, add the file you downloaded and extracted as a PDA, boot your phone into download mode and job done

why would he choose a year old phone over newer technology? looks interesting, not sure how the new OS will perform in the real world though

yep, they are educated people who buy phone for their features rather than the apple logo

galaxy s 2. played with sense 3 on the sensation and loved it, but the galaxy has a much better screen, better resolution and a MUCH better camera. Thats why I got that rather than the HTC.

changed my desire hd for the GS2. Love it. only thing I miss is HTC sense as it is miles better than touchwiz but its nice that it doesnt hog up all the RAM

just use a launcher like golauncher and changes the look with no fuss. only root to make changes to the system, not just how it looks

odd as it is hands down the best phone i have ever owned if you know how to get the best out of it. if not, be a sheep and get the iphone

no huge problems on the galaxy s 2. little glitches but same with any phone. it would have been pulled from all networks otherwise. Bit like when the nokia n8 would permernantly shut down

worst phone ive had - iphone 4. horrendous. constantly getting them replaced and worst experience of owning a phone. loved my 3gs, but the "upgrade" to the 4 was a terrible decision

wildfire isnt getting updated to gingerbread im afraid

not a huge amount. been using it for around 3 months on desire HD now. had the official one that was leaked around 4 weeks but cant say there is a huge difference from froyo

anyone bought one yet? im waiting until they manage to unlock the bootloader so i can have custom roms before taking the plunge

it will be the same as every othe htc. bad! i can live with it though for such a good phone
