Can anyone recommend a GOOD speed camera warning package to add on to Tom Tom Navigator 5 for PDAs?
Need to get one for managers at work!
Thanks
Andrew
Will agree with that. Make sure you warm the clay up well!
AND make sure you fold the clay regularly to get a fresh surface.
I have the results of doing it the wrong way....
Andrew
css is certainly the up and coming way of web layout but I would disagree that tables should be discarded. Some browsers still do not support css properly but tables should always show as required. Is you sue css make sure the site still looks acceptabel without the css file loaded.
Agree...
Nice site to look at and the sites from the links also look nicely designed.
However, I agree with MAMS on points 2 which also on my machine took over another page I had open and point 3 which if you were not expecting it could be confusing.
I also dislike websites that rely so heavily on...
It's because the most recent feedback was only put on today.
Have another look tomorrow or Friday and the score should be correct. For some reason it doesn't add new feedback to your rating immediately.

Nige182:
Good choice of car there :)
Who was your saleperson? Know Walkers pretty well. lol
Nearly bought the Trophy myself but went for the Megane 225 in the end.
Is yours a new car or a pre reg as they had one of those a while back too.
Andrew
When I looked at doing this I was told the subframes you can buy would have mounting points for the pre-tensioners so it should just be a matter of unbolting them from the existing mountin points and re-attaching to the new subframes.
Andrew
I've had this before both with Renault and others. Also applies if there IS a problem but it isn't warranty.
Might seem annoying but the dealer has to make money. I assume if it is warranty then they can claim the cost back, if not they have tied up a technician for an hour or whatever and got...
Revisited an old question today as I have been offered a Trophy in part ex for my 172 Cup.
Deal is good, given the Cup is negative equity....
Cup is nearly 3 yrs old with 36200 miles.
But should I go for it? Heart says yes. I love the Recaros plus it has just a couple more creature comforts...
Got my exhaust rattle fixed last week - peace at last. lol
Had the central section replaced under warranty so happy about that.
I assume it is the centre section of teh exhaust on 172s that usually goes?
Andrew
Thanks for the feedback.
Thinking of changing cars within 6 months so guess just wait and see. If it IS March then might be OK, but if it is summer+ may look elsewhere.
What is the latest about the new Renaultsport Clio?
Autocar reckon it is available January but not seen anything to confirm that.
Any info appreciated.
Andrew
I would agree with Daz on this too.
I had a Smart(!) which are known for bad understeer. Fitted wider profile tyres front and rear and the handling was transformed and I could certainly corner a lot faster and safer, hence the car performed better.
Ouch, Renault parts are expensive!
Anyone used http://www.speedways.co.ukwww.speedways.co.uk at all?
They list the discs at £40 each and pads at £25 a set.
This was my intention to buy these and then fit them myself (hopefully)!!
I will definately be questioning Renault tomorrow on their...
I was under the impression that any options - even factory fitted - had to be declared to an insurance company as it changes the spec of the vehicle from the standard version. Effectively even metallic paint should be declared.
Andrew
Thanks again.
I have posted the same question on another forum and the answers have been the same too. I also thought the same - any garage can do it as long as they use genuine parts, but wanted to confirm.
I will indeed check with renault UK.
When I had a Smart they always said that you...
Thats exactly what I would have said.
My local Renault dealer however said that if I did not use an authorised Renault dealer to have them changed I would void the entire warranty on the car!
I know they are going to want to have me take the car to them but if what they said is not correct...
Hopefully somebody can give me a definitive answer here:
If things like brake discs and pads are replaced WITHOUT using a Renault dealer to do it, how much does it affect the 3 year warranty on the car?
Thanks
Andrew
On the subject of discs and pads, anyone used this company:
http://www.speedways.co.uk/shop/index.htmlhttp://www.speedways.co.uk/shop/index.html ??
They are just standard discs and pads I think but their prices seem OK.
Mine need doing soon...
Andrew
Yeah, was just leaving work having just got the car back so was going for a blast :)
Saw you Monday morning too, going up the ring road past Sainsburys.
Was in a courtesy car so you wouldnt have spotted me.
