Thanks for the input guys, can't really put it back to standard as the hassle of finding standard inlets etc isnt really worth it. I was hoping it wasnt over priced as it pretty much in line with others around the same mileage. Will put it up on Autotrader next week I think and see how I get on!

Appreciate the sleeper element but from personal experience its madness. I only talk from experience as my old Corsa had three different 2 litre engines varying in level of tune. Something that started off as cheap fun slowly got more expensive and defeated the whole point of the exercise...

Do it, I quite happily drove to Paris in mine and then to the Nurburg Ring the following weel. As above keep a spare tyre with you, high Vis, warning Triangle and headlight converters job done. Its a common journey not an expedition!

You cannot get adjustable konis for the 182 with cup packs. The rears will fit as per any other 172/182. I had a word with Mark Fish and he was going to play around with a set for me but unfortunately I didnt take this any further

Where the hell is that at Lakeside? Went to the Tescos bit a couple of weeks ago but it was just full of jockys and their 14 year old g/f's. Managed to see some nice Fords though :o May pop down if I am not knackered from PC'ing my mates car

I have this exact problem! Its doing my nut in as no one seems to know what it is. Its a weird clunk when braking to a standstill and when pulling off!

Well I was suspecting top mounts but I only replaced them last year....its just so perplexing! May take them apart and see how they look. Also I have new shocks that have done 5k miles which is sooo annoying.

After driving Clio's equipped with H&R's GAZ (all round coilovers) and AST's you deffo get what you pay for!!! No arguing they are good for 170 odd quid but drive something with decent suspension and I think you may well change your mind....I certainly did!
