Having issues starting my ph2 172 but they seem to be intermitant. It will start sometimes but only if I pump the accelerator and other times it just clicks over once and then refuses to turn over at all. It's only started doing this since this batch of really cold weather has hit the country...

Can't decide which wheels to go for on my black ph2 172-white 2118's or silver/anthracite turinis. Anyone ever done 16" 2118's as I only ever recall seeing pics of 15" ones before. Pics might help too if you wish :) Steve

Right,wanting to get an aftermarket headunit for the 172 and have pretty much narrowed it down to the xda305 alpine,the one with the full colour screen. Does anyone know if this can be used with a DAB unit at all?

I'm kinda interested in getting one of these soon. My only 'concern' if you like,is that i see the cat-back systems have like an inwardly rolled slash cut tip,where as the race system seems to have a sraight cut outwardly rolled tip to the backbox? Does this mean to get the straight cut...

Tried opening my bonnet the other day with no success,although heard no funny noises to suggest the cable had snapped at all and the lever still feels the same as before when it was working. I know the bonnet catches were recalled on clios,including the ph2 172's as far as I'm aware but unsure...

My clio 172 doesn't display the temperature next to the clock :( Can this be turned off or is it the obvious that the sensor isn't working?

Seem to have developed a coolant leak on my 172. Not all the time but quite steady when it is leaking. Seems to be coming from about the centre of the car,just in from the front of the sideskirt. Are they common for this? And is it advised to get it seen to as soon as or is it just a case of...

Does anyone know if you can get some white or xenon looking bulbs for the front foglights on a 172? Seems to spoil the front end of any night pics or whatever with the Halogen bulbs and the xenon headlights Cheers

Does anyone have any videos of a yozzasport exhaust on a clio 172 being filmed from outside the car? Plenty of 182 videous on youtube but I presume they will sound different to a 172 and I only found one for a 172 but it's in a built up industrial estate so all you hear is echo. Cheers :) Steve

Some of you may remember me posting saying I did a roadtrip to Hull and back last weekend for a black ph2 172. Took a couple of pictures the nother night. Now I'm not all too camera technical but here we go anyway... Comments welcome!

After a very long day of travelling from Aberdeen to Hull and back again,and with my legs now quite sore and stiff,I'm finally home and I've brought a black 172 home with me! :D Few little niggles that need sorted at some point but got it for a good price I think so I'm happy with it :rasp:

Going to look at a black Ph2 172 this weekend. 47,000 miles on the clock on an 02 plate,done a full HPI check which came back clear. Had both cambelt and aux belts with kits changed in the last year-with receipts Bad bits are melting thumb grips,a small dent on the B-pillar part of the window...

Quick question. Are black Ph2 172's the same black/gold that comes on the 182's or is it just plain metallic black?

Bit of a rant. Why is there soo many written off clio 172's and 182's. HPI'd 3 now I was seriously considering traveling to buy and wanted to get them checked out before traveling and potentially buying one of them and what a shock,all cat D write offs,one of which had been written off twice!

I know the splitter can be had from k-tec,but things like front and rear diamonds,front fog surrounds and dashboard inlay strips,where can they be bought from? :D

Is it alright to use Eibach sportline spring with standard 172 dampers without causing any problems or is it advisable to upgrade dampers too? If on standard dampers does it make the ride any harsher than the standard springs or just make it that bit lower? Cheers folks for any info, Steve

Looking seriously to buy a clio 172 but I'm really struggling to find a ph2 for under 4k with low mileage :( I thought my budget would have been big enough or am I doing something wrong?

Looking at a ph1 172,the one in the link to be precise. Now i know the advert is a little below gash but what do you guys think about the car itself? Mileage is good provided it's genuine. Rear lights would be removed,filter would be changed and exhaust would no doubt be changed aswell as looks...
