It snapped yesterday and I got it fixed straight away by a garage. I now can't select gears smoothly or at all ! Has anyone got any clues to let the garage know when I take it back the mora ? Cheers

Fitted my cat back Magnex system and decat pipe (just a pipe) And tried my hardest to make it pop and bang and make some sort of noise. Any tips ? Cheers :cool:

Got to say my 4 hours really did pay off on sunday. Treated her to a 3 stage Meguirs Clean and wax. Great stuff to work with. Shame it only lasted 24 hours now it's back to old ways ! lol What you's think ? :D

Just going to give it a good old service but gonna change as much as I can to new. Looking at all engine mounts and such like and bushes etc etc Is there many ? Also gonna change all gaskets and that on engine and change all oils and that in engine and gear box. Giving my self the Easter...

Its the rubbers that cover the groves on the 2 sides of roof. Just looking at mine and they aint to good. Can you still buy these from Renault ? If so has any one, price ?

Had to call the AA out tonight for my brothers car. Engine turns over when you turn the key but doesn't start. The AA bloke had his little Volt meter out to test the voltage and there was only power going to the ECU on the main feed. Everything off the ECU didn't have anything. Checked all...

How come the car has days where it feels great and really fast then others where it feels crap and slugish (slow) ? Cause today is one of those good days (very good). It's done nothing but put a smile on my face all day. :clown:

Driving up the A1 north bound today, driving back from lincolnshire. Massive Crack in the middle of my Valvers windscreen. Phoned insurance and according to them am not covered for windscreen damage just side windows. Going through Admiral. TPFT. So looks like I have to take the bill...

I noticed somewhere on here the other day something about some valvers having oil coolers ? Whats that all about ? is there any other little special things on valvers to look out for ?

I have a valver and wonder if there is any exhaust people recommend for getting rally style popping from the exhaust :rasp: I just love that noise ! even better if i had a dump valve and popping :D and maybe a meaty V8 roar, of even a subaru boxer engine tone but less of the dreaming...

Locked my car the nite with my clifford alarm. Locked the garage and the alarm started going off but it was a stupid weak noise. Car won't open and alarm has stopped. Car started first time to drive car into garage so don't know if it can be car battery. I can't get into the car any way...

has 3rd gear in a valver always been a bit flat ? also i checked my spark plugs yesterday and they where perfect. apart from is a little bit oil on the tip of the 4th spark plug normal ?

Its snowing and i've got a 15 mile trip back in about 6-8 inches of snow. how does a standard valver manage with snow ? just before I get my self killed :dead:

My brother has a Clio 1.4 8v Sport, W plate. It's leaking oil and it's goin onto the CAT and buring. I have looked at it, the oil filter was loose at first and I thought that was the problem. Also tightened the sump plug. Still leaked. So i gave it a full service changin both filter...
