hi again, is there a torque setting for the bolts/nuts on a gearbox mounting / bracket on a 52 plate 172 please anybody ??????

hello everyone, who has had probelms with gearbox mountings with 2000 onwards clios please ? very stressfull!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i think it might be all the pot holes in our shire

very fun cars, we got a bad one though, air bag sensors, coolant leaks, brake failure, vac canister, gearbox oil leak, various engine mounts, hazard warning light, stat on in cabin heater, solenoid ball valve?, etc, but who cares? itll put a smile on your face 24/7 !!!!!!!!

yeah rubber is fine .

put on ramp today, top one is slack but not broken, spose to have a measured gap? apparently??? gearbox mount nearly sheared through on metal !!!!!!!! and back stabiliser very soft, has ne1 else come across at all ?

does anybody know of any after market engine/gearbox mount? as the rubber on ours is ok but the metal has sheared, any advice will be muchly appreciated.

air bag sensor, vac cnt unit , go rem ref side air bag sensor, solenoid ball valve, advised that n/s engine mounting broken but wont do under warranty.

hi all, has anyone got a copy of the warranty schedule for a mkII 172 pls as i think renault are ripping me off !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

no ring on back have been told to press old one off and on to new one, poss wrong discs ?:cry:
