hello everyone, who has had probelms with gearbox mountings with 2000 onwards clios please ? very stressfull!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i think it might be all the pot holes in our shire

very fun cars, we got a bad one though, air bag sensors, coolant leaks, brake failure, vac canister, gearbox oil leak, various engine mounts, hazard warning light, stat on in cabin heater, solenoid ball valve?, etc, but who cares? itll put a smile on your face 24/7 !!!!!!!!

yeah rubber is fine .

put on ramp today, top one is slack but not broken, spose to have a measured gap? apparently??? gearbox mount nearly sheared through on metal !!!!!!!! and back stabiliser very soft, has ne1 else come across at all ?

does anybody know of any after market engine/gearbox mount? as the rubber on ours is ok but the metal has sheared, any advice will be muchly appreciated.

air bag sensor, vac cnt unit , go rem ref side air bag sensor, solenoid ball valve, advised that n/s engine mounting broken but wont do under warranty.

no ring on back have been told to press old one off and on to new one, poss wrong discs ?:cry:

hi every1, im sure its a much talked about topic, but am unable to find any threads on it. does anybody now the procedure for fitting after market rear discs please, ie can o.e bearings be pressed out of old and into new ? and abs ring ???? help been told it will pull of with pullers and press...

hooray renault fixed it today, cost me £25 + the tw*t, sumthing to do with the exhaust manifold ????????????? they said it wasnt warranty @ this age !!!!!!!!!!:@

i used to own a 2l 16v nova with 200bhp to the front wheels and never heard anything like this noise, no cure ?

nice one thanks, is it sumthing they develop or is it almost factory fitted, bloody horrible noise though.

any body had a nasty banging noise when accelerating hard in 1st and then in 2nd ? does it most in the wet or on bumpy road ? please help as renault cant find it !
