appreciate it s few years old, but did you ever get this working? I'm in exactly the same boat now, and ive tried relays & simple diagrams and nothing works, all fuses keep blowing no matter what circuit diagram i use (ive used a couple)
This might make it a little easier - i have drawn a basic diagram of all the components i believe are in the horn system, or what i might need to get it to work. Feel free to edit it and draw in wiring as required. Thank you.
Hi all. To cut a long story short, i have replaced the steering wheel, which ended up frying the wires to the horn on my 172. (Stupid i know).
So i'm in a position now where i'm trying to wire in stand alone horn through to a horn push to make button which ill just install in the dash area...
Right all, looking for a bit of help here.
Ive recently changed my steering wheel over to a smaller OMP wheel and done the nessecary resistor job for the airbag light, however since changing it over, ive got the SERV & traction warning light showing constantly. Ive read the codes and it is a...
im fairly sure it is yes, it seemed to slot in perfectly and there was nowhere else for it to sit even when the rear axle was hanging loose. I stand corrected if anybody tells me otherwise. I was a little suprised that there was not many other people complaining about this happening, as i assume...
Where did you get that pipe from and what is it called?
Have nobody like Powerflex ever tried to make a better exhaust mount? They are really sh!t lol.
Right chaps. So not long ago i installed 40mm lowering springs allround.
Yesterday was the 1st change i got to test drive it, and everything seems ok, ride is nice and low & firm just how i want it for track days.
Problem now is that the rear exhaust box sways to much, and even when still it...
Cheers, i managed to find a set of 4 on ebay for £11 delivered so bought them and now im all sorted, front and rears, The bolts were a pure B**tard, my impact wrench worked on the fronts, but used the trust breaker bar on the rears. All sorted though.
Cheers.
Thanks again. I need to replace one of the nut & bolts which hold the S/A to the hub as it wasnt moving with the impact gun either, so had to cut it off. Called Renault about 7 or 8 times, the phone just rings, and they say the parts section are busy, then i finally get through to them, the...
Just want to say thank you everybody - i finally got it back in. Had to jack up the other side as menioned above, was still a ball ache trying to get it in on my own, so had to get the stepson ready with a bolt as i put weight on the hub to lower it and line up with the bolt hole.
On with the...
Hmm, nope I only have 1 side jacked up. Is that the reason?
Had to pack gear away now but will jack up the other side tomorrow aswell & see if that helps.
Thanks
Hi - just in the middle of changing over my standard springs to 40mm lower springs, all was going so well.
Started with the fronts, and got the shock absorber out, took the old spring off, got the new spring on and buttoned the shock absorber back up.
Trouble is now that i can not for the life...
What was the car doing before you had to change the sensor? i.e was the speedo not working at all? I wouldnt have thought that a speedo sensor would need to be collaborated, but could be wrong. Can the message from your diagnostic be reset in the same way a standard fault code can be reset?
