    Best exhaust for £500

HI there, I'd like to hear from you if you weren't happy with your exhaust. I think you had a 172 system? if so this comes with an additional rear mounting but no Audi type mount - that's the 182 system that uses the Audi type mounts. Our exhausts are still made by the same guys that have...

    Failed Brembo brackets

Whoa! This looks like a close call. We manufacture our top mounts from 7075 and it corrodes very quickly so we cover them in oil and get them hard anodised as soon as we can. Our brake brackets are steel and zinc plated with a colour passivation but even after the salt gets through the zinc...

PMS top mounts with Bilstein B14 coilovers.

Just for future info, the reason for the washers underneath our top mounts on B14s is because, for some strange reason, the locating spigot for the top spring cap protrudes through the top spring cap by a fraction of a mm. If you put our lower spacer straight onto the locating spigot the top...

    Ast vs bilstein

You want to spring the car as soft as you can get away with and my opinion is those rates are way too hard on the back. It might work for how Mark likes his car set-up but I like it soft and compliant to maximise mechanical grip. Wheel frequency with a 100-110N/mm rear springs would be huge...

    Ast vs bilstein

The ASTs are a great piece of kit but £500 more than our Bilsteins. I used AST once and that was enough for me. Hopefully their service has improved. In my opinion the AST rears lack droop travel and our Bilsteins have been made to allow more droop travel. I swapped from an AST rear with...

    Quick rack

Thanks Dmac, We have these in stock but not on our current website as we're just about to launch our new one! They are a complete rack without inner tie rods built up into a casing with either hydraulic PAS or manual configuration. Hydraulic PAS racks are £495 +VAT, manual rack is £370+VAT...

    Downforce / areodynamics

Our hillclimb and sprint car has a full flat floor and rear diffuser, as in photo above. I planned to test it last year with a 'set a time then take it off and see' approach but never got around to it. The theory on our car was to reduce drag than to provide any real 'downforce'. The diffuser...

Problem with PMS aircon delete kit

It's a 'safe' failure with no slackening of the belt or breakdown of the vehicle.

Problem with PMS aircon delete kit

Hi Guys, Thanks for the feedback on the aircon delete kit. Just a few things to put across from our side: Tom, I assume it was you we sent the replacement bracket out to earlier this week? I Believe this had been on the car for some time and I said to you on the phone that had you recently...

    PMS Gear Linkage rattle

Just a quick note to all that we are looking into solving this problem and have had some positive results from some testing today - we will keep you posted.

    PMS Gear Linkage rattle

Oh really, I don't remember doing any without O-rings but I have slept since then and I think I get formatted every night.

    PMS Gear Linkage rattle

If you take it apart you'll see that the reverse lock sleeve is machined internally with an o-ring top and bottom! Putting a washer in the bottom makes no difference as we've tried already!

    Pure Motorsport beam strengthening kit

What? The hub wouldn't snap?!!! The front subframe and wishbones are weak, so for any competition use the stiffer you can make them the better. If you hit a wheel hard enough to bend a wishbone, you've probably bent the subframe whether the stiffening plates are there or not.
