In the RHD Renault range only the Clio has LHD wipers, I believe. The RHD Peugeot 206 and RHD BMW 5 series have them too, so were not alone! :D

Actually its not that much of a cost saving on Renaults part. The current RHD Clios have a drivers side wiper that has a double arm to better sweep the upper corner of the windscreen. I cant imagine this to be a particularly cheap part to design and produce. LHD Clios dont have this, since the...

Mine does the same thing, but only if the cars been left standing for at least half a day. I asked the workshop to check it twice, but they said everything checked out OK and their diagnostic computer didnt pick up any faults. Looks like its normal, seeing how many people have it.

I would think the Magnex exhaust (its stainless steel isnt it?) weighs a fair more than the standard unit. Perhaps in the region of 10kg extra.

The light will go off when the pads are replaced not necessarily because the current pads are worn out, but because using the thicker new pads will "push" the brake fluid back into the reservoir. If the brake pads are not worn out, just top up the brake fluid. Its normal for the level to fall...

You can also try using DOT5 or 5.1 brake fluid. Its more resistant to boiling than the standard DOT4 stuff in the car. Very often a soggy pedal after hard driving is caused by the brake fluid boiling.
