Received my recon cup alternator yesterday from euro car parts. Its a recon valeo unit. The only difference is on the old one there was a pink wire crimped onto a push on connector. There is no push on terminal on the new unit. Any idea if it needs connecting if so where? Thanks

Il be fitting x2 fia kill switches one evening this week on my track build. One on the head unit blank and the other on the left side scuttle panel. Silly question but i just want to be sure.. can you wire these in series? and i take it a resistor per kill switch is needed wired to an earth?

spoke to a couple of Renault parts places today and the tensioner bracket that I was planning to get hold of to delete my HPAS and Aircon they no longer do. There saying its a part number from an old Renault 19/5. is there an alternative part number? Or will the PMS version of it work too...

Thanks a lot for that mate. I searched a Clio cup reg plate on Euro car parts last night and it come back with a few to choose from for £130. Fuming really last week they had 30% off parts. So the other models you mentioned which I think the Laguna is included in to iirc are the same design so...

I want to order the remaining bits in the morning so if someone can shed some light on it this evening I would really appreciate it. Is a 172 cup alternator required when I convert to EPAS and when I remove aircon this weekend or is it possible to get around this in any way?

Yeh id want 6 for the car as its immaculate and im only the 2nd owner FSH etc etc and yeh about 1k back for the parts maybe a bit more the coilovers and brakes were 1k alone. Leaving to 2k to spend on a good fast road/track setup for a 182 . To be honest 2k can go a long way on a Clio!
