thanks :) mirrors are from the S4 and are chrome, the alloys i was going to get were the rs4 reps but seems like everyone has them round here so went for the 6's instead.

ah ok well that deffo rules out the cambelt.

are you getting the pulleys/idlers etc changed also?

change them all to be on the safe side mate as once you change 1 worn mount for new it then transferes the movement over to the other worn mounts, litteraly picking on the next weakest link. There not expensive and it transformes the car.

how does a 172 cup differ do you have to change any pulleys etc on the aux belt???

wrong oil and wrong grade its only a semi synthetic but you could have bought worse i suppose.

personally i wouldn't use anything other than sylkolene, mobil 1, etc, but then im fussy about oil as i work with it and i know exactly what sh!t oil does to an engine over time

sounds to me like you should top up on fuel
