We've fitted several of these in the last week, and both of them were utter toss !! Build quality s**t, ergonomics - s**t, overall performance - not good... But hey, what do you expect for 400 notes !!
those other brands aren't as good as the JL by a long way !!! e4300 would be good enough, but if you can stretch, either a 300/4 or as dink says a 450/4, although you'd have to run the rear channels on the components and the front channels on the sub as the power of the amp isn't split normally.
I wouldn't bother....the only way to do it is to do it right with all genuine panels, and it cost us a fortune to do our demo car. Have to mess with drive shafts, suspension, axels etc.....far too much money, talking excess of £10k after paint......
Car looks bloody ace tho, in PGTi issue...
i've had me 1.6si in In-Car magazine way back, n will be in Fast Car in the next few months, also will be featured in the trade mag Car Audio Retailer in the Feb 2006 issue (ready for the 2006 show in Coventry)
makavelli,
i should hope its a good replica cos the panels are actually all genuine renault v6 parts.....cost a bloody fortune......and a lot of time n effort..
ill wash ur car any time, u know that ! ;)
by the way, if i do wash it can i take it for a spin, jus to check see if yellow is faster than silver, cos im not so sure !
:p
Alpine have now stopped doing the DAB adapters, they are concentrating on DVB (digital video broadcasting) instead, n according to technical should be out this year hopefully...
meggerman,
the kit is a mk2 kit, but not your cheap, tacky fibreglass kit thats goin round. Proper v6 panels from renault, n u all know the prices, like £1300 a side skirt, £400 wings etc...renault wanted bout £12k in total, but got it from a good bloke in Accrington (J3ned on here) for bout...
cheers for comments guys....i know a lot of u are just into the handling & performance of the clios, so its nice to get good comments like that. All the work apart from fitting & painting of the panels was done by the company i work for Source Sounds & Security in sheffield. The idea came to...
