right ive put anew engine in my 172 and connected the starter up and it wasnt engaging so i went a got a new1 and its still doin this what wud cause the starter not 2 ingage? it bumps fine n starts cheers

right so far this is what ive done got a second hand bottom end for icracus off here who is a top bloke ive put a new water pump on, cltuch,all new fluids,cv grease,belts again lol,pullys tnsinoers,rockers,tappets,gaskets,bolts, had my inlet re worked and bored out 2 max it could fitted a oil...

thanks for all the comments gud and bad lol right havent bin on here for a while because ive bin fixing the car due 2 it spinning a sheel and fooking the whole bottom end i wil put sum pics up later of the process n that cheers

also ive just bin reading up is it true that if i get my crank re ground ill have 2 get bigger bearings / shells?? also what do u mean by get the block honed properly?? thanks

is it worth getting my crank and fly wheel lightnthed well there off?? il b puttin a fast road clutch on also is there any thing i can do 2 the block 2 perform betterwith out changing the pistons im doin all the rings well the pistons are out thanks

when u take the bottom pully of a sport engine and take the cam belt off how u do u get that spline thing off were the cambelt goes on?? thanks
