Running costs are not as bad as everyone thinks.... I would recommend the 3.0 5 speed M3's over the later 3.2 6speed Evo's as the common fault with the evo's is the double vanos system packing up, which is very expensive to fix. The 3.0 lumps are bullet proof....regular servicing is all...

Not heard that...but the best M in my opinion was the E30.

Thats bcos the build quality was very poor on the older clios and the dealers are extremly poor. The new ones are cool

Best thing to have on your car is anti - hijack...even if they had the keys they would only get a few yards down the road before youre car would cut out and alarm would sound. Not bad considering you can get them fitted for £120 now.

Clio 182 will beat a V6 4Motion all day long, straights and twisties. Dont forget the transmission loss for the Golf being 4wd and the weight.
