Have ordered a new (secondhand) sensor this week so next week when it comes perhaps the blokes that fitted the seats can also fit the sensor krisdale?

Fault code 179 - front side sensor circuit, driver no signal

Is it due to a fault with the part though do you know, or is it just something triggered by the airbag lights coming on due to airbag sensors?

Fault code 179 - front side sensor circuit, driver no signal

Recently swapped the front seats out of my 182 and put some Recaro ones in. Had the airbag light on so have fitted resistors in the seat airbag plugs, and also put a resistor in for the passenger seat belt pre tensioner as someone had previously chopped the plug off. Had it plugged in the...

182 Bogging Down in Low Revs

Well, replaced both lamda sensors and still bad. We also tried swapping the coil pack from a mates Clio and that was no good either. Also checked around the CAT for leaks and couldn't see anything there either. Then we tried unplugging the MAP sensor and that seemed to make it run smooth. So...

182 Bogging Down in Low Revs

I think may have been the cause perhaps. Had the bonnet up again, faffed about a bit, the shut it firmly, and then the alarm worked fine.

182 Bogging Down in Low Revs

Also now when I go to lock the car the alarm makes a constant ringing noise and it won't stop. I disconnected the battery to do the leads and plugs. Do I have to somehow reset the alarm? It's just the standard renault one.

182 Bogging Down in Low Revs

182 Bogging Down in Low Revs

Just finished replacing the plugs and leads. When I took the inlet manifold off the ht lead for cylinder 4 had been stuck between the manifold and engine and had got crushed in 2 places so I was hopefully it was that causing the problem. Unfortunately it appears it wasn't. So leads and plugs...

182 Bogging Down in Low Revs

Just today my 182 has started just bogging down low down the revs (2-3k), plus on tickover sometimes it hunts a bits, and also sometimes cuts out. When either starting to accelerate or when taking your foot off the throttle its also a bit jerky sometimes. Also a bit of a funny smell coming from...
