There's a fused power lead that comes down from the battery direct to the starter, Up where it bolts to the battery is a fused link. Check that's not blown.

Cheers mate. Shame a bloody boost hose clip broke. Fitted some new ones today so she's ready for Ace Cafe on Monday night :)

We only started building it Monday evening as the powder coaters had my engine bits. If we got them back earlier then it would be even closer to finished. Let's just hope we can get everything sorted for Saturday!

We are hoping it will be ready. If we can get it all back together and the down pipe fits we will spend all night Friday mapping it :)

UPDATE!!!!!!!!!! After a James Stone BBQ work begin at about 6.30pm. First things first was to get the engine all wired up. We had to take the upper inlet off to get all the wiring in. We decided last minute to ditch the air-con to leave more space for the boost pipes and inter-cooler...

We are working our balls off to get the turbo car to this!!!

UPDATE The engine is almost ready to go back in! We got everything back from the powder coaters for this car and the "soon to be supercharged" Car I must say, I'm very very happy with the finish. As the rocker cover was back we torque the head down and installed the cams. Next was...

Update Well, Tuesday was the day the car came off the road for the turbo conversion. I didn't have to take the engine out to do this but i wanted to do the clutch, Paint the block and clean the engine bay so it just made life so much easier. We pulled it in the workshop and took the engine...
