All 3 of us being local to the south coast should get together and have a mini flamer meet lol :-) I did cruise past meet last night first TESCO then d-day car park which is mostly dug up then they moved elsewhere right shambles from the organisers.

Funny how the anti lift kit adjusts the caster mines the same wheel sits closer to front bumper, I have used those pads before im sure of it good luck getting them to last more than 6 months lol

Davyy beat me to it but i do have a triangle shaped box under the tree so hoping its some deflectors :)

Shaft on the diff doesnt move so guess its the joint to the driveshaft. No noise from the gearbox doesnt whine or crunch or anything just leaking oil from the shaft seal. I had the car on the ramp late last night in the garage looking for where the oil is leaking from.

It's literally up and down only by a few mm but it's still moving enough to let oil past the inner seal.

Cheers for the helpful information, so all in all my oil seal has gone but I do have movement on the shaft so expected the bearing to be at fault. Seeing as it's going to be a rebuild to sort I may as well buy a recon 182 box and bolt that in.

Anyone know if the bearing behind this seal is easy enough to replace as looking at diologys its a tapered bearing so im thinking it should be an easy replacement.

This is great used the 172 everyday this week for work filled up with £39 of shells finest and done so far this week 209 miles and still have just under 3/4 of a tank left. This Clio lark for daily use I going to save me mega bucks compared to my Impreza.
