I already have, Fred regarding my rear brakes. VOSA read the figures back to me: overall braking was 63%, and 23% for the parking brake. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that's over the 50%, 16% pass mark, right? lol And the rears are definitely functioning - brakes and pads were replaced last year...
I didn't want to take it back (having done nothing to it) and for him to point out a lamp that I'd been overlooking. Sorry for the stupidity of this entire thread, also. It's just hard to believe that they'd flag up n non-existent fault; but alas...
What would you deem to be the centre stop light? I know it sounds ridiculous, but as I said: all the lights are working - the light on the spoiler, both brake lights, either side. Hence, I'm a tad confused.

Ok, so having failed its MOT yesterday, rather than arguing to Renault with a VOSA printout, I may just bite the bullet and replace the rear brakes on my 172 cup (tbf the pads are getting a bit low anyway)
Anyone had any experience with these? They seem very cheap, but considering how little...
Bit of an update:
I've just spoken with VOSA and they have given me the total braking figures quoted by Renault as 52%
So, surely that's a pass?
I have no figures for the rears alone, but based on reading the VOSA pdf, given that they are actually functioning (not reading at 0%) then its a...
