Not an expert, but the 50's will be wider than the 45's. It will depend on how they fit on the rims, but I guess this could effect the handling due to not fitting as tightly. Sure someone will correct me on that!

Re: Newbie From Coventry! Good progress mate. As for your foglight issue - I had a similar issue on my old 1.2 - Try cleaning the rear light cluster earths.
